Picking [More] Favorites

It's already the 4th of January, but I'm still in year-in-review mode. I'm in the process of organizing photos and such, so I figured I'd join in on the 'favorite layouts' fun. One of the exercises in Ali's Yesterday & Today class was to basically do an inventory of what worked for you on your pages. What didn't work for you. Kind of a helpful thing because, while I don't regret making any of my pages, there are DEFINITELY ones that I'm not fond of. Like ones where I tried to get fancy. Or where I tried to use supplies I wasn't so fond of just because I felt I had to get my money's worth. Or ones that I did for an assignment of some sort, even if I wasn't 'feeling it.' So... goal for 2010 is to make less of those. And make more like these. My ten favorite layouts from 2009...

I also really enjoyed my mini projects, but maybe I'll save those for later. I'm kind of burned out on minis at the moment. Sad news today about my local scrapbook store - it's closing. So I guess this is good news for the few surviving stores that I visit. I always feel obliged to spread the love! So... more to spread now. Very sad though.

Hope 2010 is treating you well! What was your favorite project of 2009?

Your favorites are awesome Allie! It's so sad about all the closing LSS's. :(

There isn't one left even remotely close to me now. *sigh*

So good to see lots of lovely pages with plenty of journaling on them. A good story makes a great page!
