Binge

The month has been kind of busy and quiet, all at the same time. Only two weekends of travel so far - one being this trip for dinner with Dad and our belated wedding reception-y thing. My beloved 'Nan' insisted. I think she wanted an excuse to use her fancy dishes. We couldn't be all fancy though. The cake (well, our slice) was cut with Chris's new Ka-Bar knife. Gangsta.

What else? Lots of Guitar Hero. And being moderately lazy. And some knitting. Chris is working on converting the 2nd bedroom to run completely on alternative power. He's rigging solar cells and a bicycle generator. I'm impressed. Wish it was ready to go - sounds like we may be without power again with this impending ice storm.

Lucy's been gutting this duck for the last month. It has no eyes now.

I've been on a scrapbooking binge. 28 layouts for the month so far, most of them completed over the last weekend for the crop at Memorable Seasons. I think I covered just about every member of the family with 8-1/2 x 11's, 12x12's, 6x12's, 2-pagers, no photo pages... it was madness. In a good way. Here are my favorites.

By the way, I think I'm done with setting up 'quality' photos of my LO's (although I never have really mastered that). I just don't care that much anymore. 10 minutes photographing a LO could be 10 minutes making another one. Just my opinion. For the moment anyway. Then again.. maybe I'm just making another excuse for being lazy. :)

I'm going to try to make 31 LO's by the end of the month, but we're hitting the road again on Saturday (weather permitting). We'll see what happens! At the very least, hopefully I'll have finished that pesky pink scarf that I started 2 years ago. I'm definitely taking that in the car with me.

Have a great week!

The Alarm Clock page is my most favorite of them all. Seriously love that page!! I heard we're{we being the middle of the country}getting what CA just got. It was almost 80 yesterday and now they're calling for SNOW on Friday. These dang Texans and their snow-hype. We'll see! Hopefully it'll miss you guys so you can get that road trip in!

I hope you don't lose power, that would be awful during a snow storm! Love your pages, you are on a roll!

You're so disciplined! Can I hire you to catch me up from the year of scrapbooking I'm behind on?!
